Little Bear
Inspired by the large steel bear I made in 2005 which is located in the Botanical Gardens, Sheffield.
In 2019 the large sculpture was chosen by Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity as the design to base its new fundraising project on, called the Bears of Sheffield
This led to the creation of 60 new large bears that were painted by leading artists and designers from around the country. On 18th October 2021, after a hugely popular public art trail across the city, the bears were sold at auction and raised an incredible £525,200.00 to help fund a new Cancer and Leukaemia ward at the Hospital.
